Bathroom Insulation

An inspector or addendum to any code cannot be more strict than the current code being enforced it s taht plain and simple.
Bathroom projects need special consideration because of the humidity and moisture that bathrooms generate. But i do somewhat agree that kraft faced insulation is not a good insulation for around showers and the like. Around objects that store or distribute hot water and indoor air.
Sprayed insulation such as cellulose or foam are usually smarter choices than fiberglass for your bathroom. When moisture becomes trapped in walls mold and mildew can grow damaging your home and presenting a potential health danger. Seal rigid foam panels between foundation joists using spray foam.
